Who is Local Library Girl?

My name is Kayla. I have a passion for all things bookish and I’m a voracious reader. My favorite genres are Fantasy and Romance but I read a lot of Sci-Fi and Literary Fiction as well. Occasionally I dabble in Mystery and Memoir.

What is this?

I created my Substack as a place to discuss what I’m reading, recommend books, and explore the literary community. I’m also over on Instagram @local_librarygirl but I found that the platform didn’t allow me to go as in depth as I’d like about certain books and topics.

What can I expect?

Emails at least twice a month containing book reviews, recommendations, and discussions of various topics in the literary world.
